Authorities in Tasmania are striving to determine a rosy sludge that has appeared on a isolated coast, with some scientists anxious it could be an algae outbreak.

Broad Presence Along Coastline

The pink-tinged sludge appeared along a stretch of a coastal area about 60 kilometers south of the capital. A comparable ooze has also been documented on sections of a nearby shore and an additional coastal site.
