Christantus Uche Sparks Straightforward Crystal Palace Victory at Shelbourne.

Squad Members Seize the Moment
This occasion offered a platform for several Palace's lesser-used players to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second beginning after joining on loan from Getafe, opened the scoring with a well-taken goal. The match was as good as over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past a series of weak challenges before calmly dispatching a shot past goalkeeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
After the break, manager Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to withdraw several players like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring with his first touch, only to see his shot blocked.
Esse was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one shot crash off each posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then missed a glaring chance, showing there is still room for development in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a late injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his senior debut, capping an otherwise positive evening for the visiting side.
